If people agree, I can get started on the page, since I have a good idea of how they work post CoD4, but I don't know if they existed in the older games. It's likely this may further change throughout future games. Plus, they seem to change with games now, as how some games have them in campaign, and how Advanced Warfare added the red hitmarker for kills, and the double hitmarker for headshots. There is really no mention of it in the Hitscans page, and Hitmarkers occur through other usage too. Right now, this page redirects to Hitscans, but I think Hitmarkers deserves its own page.
